MKN Detective Agency

Maine, Kaya and Nymeria founded the MKN Detective Agency. As Maine and Kaya continued adventuring, Nymeria watched over the agency, maintaining the connection between its founders’ shared undertaking and their increasingly separate journeys. Her stewardship is part of the agency’s established history; it does not replace Maine or Kaya as founders or make every person who benefited from its work a member.^[1]

The agency’s connection to the Red Ledgers runs through Nymeria’s research. She learned a great deal about them, and Arthur came to know them through her discoveries. That chain matters to the agency’s place in the wider story: knowledge developed by one founder reached an ally whose work crossed other adventures. The established account identifies who learned from whom, without supplying an unrecorded list of cases or claiming that Arthur founded or ran the agency.^[1]
