Merris told Kaya that a delivery addressed to her had arrived. The envelope bore her address as a stamp rather than handwriting. Inside was A Father’s Pride, a silver ring with white and blue energy coursing through its band and faint streaks of ichor. The enclosed letter read, “From your father - he is proud of you.”[2]
