Ideology
The danger is not only Albert; it is the worldview he made useful.
The Black Ward carries the part of Albert's legacy that treats people as designs, prototypes, vessels, or proof that the Void should choose the strong. Even when Albert is absent, rat-formed, escaped, or only rumored, his research logic keeps recruiting new hands.
Krane
Krane turns custody, testimony, and research into the same trap.
Krane is not just an old lab name. Live story shows him reaching Maine in prison, using a voidling-adjacent breach to compromise legal isolation, then appearing in court as an expert who benefits from Maine being treated as dangerous property. His threat is scientific, legal, and personal at once.
M.A.I.
The variant mystery is part of the present crisis map.
Arthur's safe-room testimony makes the old M.A.I. disaster current: Maine variants, Krane's mishandling, Albert's realization that the experiments were wrong, Castro connections, and later legal pressure all sit on one line. M.A.I. is no longer only origin lore; it is active evidence.
Alfred
Alfred is a person, target, warning, and research consequence at once.
Old Fall of the Centrum material warns that Alfred may be the answer void magic gave after Albert. Live records tie Hollow/Kuzon/Alfred to Black Ward protection and Castro interest. Treat Alfred-linked pages as active experiment-fallout until exact identity, body state, and agency are fully settled.
Labs
A ruined lab is still part of the experiment.
Collapsed labs, failed containment rooms, old records, forest rumors, Lonely Islands ruins, and VQU site leads should be treated as active hazards. A lab can stop functioning and still keep producing consequences through records, leaks, altered survivors, scavengers, or things that learned to live there.
Black Ward
The Black Ward survives by blending doctrine, shelter, and threat.
Black Ward traces do not always look like hooded laboratories. They can appear as old churches, sealed buildings, preachers, safe houses, ideology, civic rumor, or routes that overlap with legitimate public shelters. The old Black Ward chapel and Gravenhurst crisis threads show how easily the research past hides behind current panic.
Castro
Shared targets do not mean shared faction, but they do mean shared pressure.
Krane's prison access appears beside a voidling/Castro presence, while later Castro pressure targets people already tied to Black Ward and experiment fallout. Keep Castro distinct from Krane and the Black Ward, but track where their interests overlap around bodies, identity, void energy, and captives.
Travel
Experiment fallout leaves procedural footprints.
Look for sealed buildings, sudden expert witnesses, missing prisoners, old lab records, altered bodies, cult language about design or worthiness, ruins with fresh traffic, and people who insist the experiment is over while still guarding the door.
