Devotion as a public force
The Emrites are devotees linked to Emrys, with a base in New Goblin City and connections to dragon-linked sites. Their religious life makes dragon theology a living pressure within the city’s factional affairs. Faith is part of how the community presents itself and how others understand its place among the city’s competing groups.[2]

Rumor
Rumor gives several explanations for Emrite devotion: sincere faith, politics, opportunism, or a mixture that changes with whoever is holding the candle.[2]
