Undying Pact and Phoenix Circuit

The 2093 M.B. Undying Pact is the moment resurrection stopped being only miracle, taboo, or private necromancy and became a Centrum-scale civic technology. Old records credit X Grymmeye, Titian, and Albert with completing the process after X sacrificed the lich power rooted in Annie Rein's murder. The Phoenix Circuit followed at VQU in 2094 M.B. Resurrection never became ordinary, but it became regular enough for an official list, controlled procedures, and recurring disputes over whose place could be skipped. Current play preserves the cost through Reborn students, damaged bodies, corpse-rights law, body salvage rumors, and Phoenix Lab leads.
