Castro / Dragon Lair Treasure

Void gear and survival loot recovered from the Aleklot's Rest lair

How It Works

The Castro / Dragon Lair Treasure is the Aleklot's Rest loot cluster tied to the young green dragon, the Voiling forces, General Falafelsnout's desecrated remains, and the wider Castro/void operation. It should be tracked separately from Victor Shaw's Tsunami Chest even when both hauls surface in the same aftermath.

Lair

Dragon and Voiling Context

Civic Doctrine

Dragon-lair items should point toward Castro, Voiling, void gear, and Falafelsnout fallout.

The lair revealed a young green dragon wearing General Falafelsnout's polar-bear head as a helm or crown. A Voiling General and Voiling Soldiers emerged with it, making the dragon crisis part of a Castro-linked void operation rather than a simple surviving-monster problem.

Void Gear

Weapons and Armor

Civic Doctrine

Void Edge is both a weapon and a vision trigger; Voidplate is lair armor, not Victor cache gear.

The Void Edge Blade and Reinforced Voidplate Cuirass are the clearest gear expressions of the lair's void-military flavor. The Void Edge Blade also became story-relevant when Ash touched it and triggered the corridor vision involving Salvatore Mentali, Soldier, Oskar, and Ash's unstable role.

Survival

Resistance and Mobility Loot

Civic Doctrine

These pieces belong to the dragon-lair packet and should carry dragon/Castro tags.

The Verdigris Seal Ring, Boots of Sure Footing, Cloak of Shadow Steps, and Potion of Tough Hide make up the lair's survival and movement cluster. They fit the acid, shadow, displacement, and hardening themes around dragon combat and void-adjacent forces.

Aftermath

Cost of the Hoard

Civic Doctrine

Use this cluster to connect item pages back to Herman's death, Ash's kill, and the void-force reveal.

The treasure follows a fight where the young green dragon's poison breath killed Herman Winger and Ash later broke the weakened dragon's neck. The loot therefore carries battlefield aftermath, Lawful audit pressure, and Castro-force implications all at once.

Ownership

Known Holders

Civic Doctrine

Mark uncertain holders plainly instead of inventing a current owner.

Morgan paid to retain the Cloak of Shadow Steps. Ash had the important Void Edge Blade contact that triggered a vision, but most other lair pieces remain best marked as Party / unassigned after audit unless a later story note assigns them.
