Vic Vaurr's original sentimental great axe remains missing. After the G.R.I.F.T. demonstration, the weapon returned to him was revealed to be a newer +2 great axe rather than the original.

Vic Vaurr's sentimental great axe is a personally significant weapon distinct from Crimson Verdict.^[3]

The axe disappeared from Vic in Velvet Cross and was found embedded in Alexa B’Praghus, who appeared alive but dying. Vic was accused of attacking her.^[3]

Alexa sat up unharmed during the G.R.I.F.T. insurance demonstration, and Vic was cleared of the supposed attack. The great axe returned to him was a newer +2 replacement. His original axe's location and holder remain unknown.^[2]
