The reopening generation
The First Five were the first student cohort of Von Queef University after its reopening under Baron von Queef. Their arrival marked the school’s new era after the fall of the Centrum, and they came to be remembered as a symbolic Witchborn generation: living examples of what the reopened university might become. Their significance rested in that beginning as well as in their place among the school’s students.[4][3]
