The Exiles carry the human cost of Point Pringle's crisis: PP5's grief, Maple's haunted innocence, Drow's cold protection, Rahab and Araspinn's experiment scars, and the practical question of who protects altered people when official structures fail.^[1]

The Exiles are a resistance and survivor network rooted in Point Pringle and the Threads of Truth safehouse. PP5’s grief for Tono and the threat of Grease Tooth helped shape their struggle, alongside the experiences of altered survivors such as Rahab and Araspinn. Maple’s haunted innocence and Drow’s protective severity belong to the same human cost of the crisis: the network brings together people left to protect one another when the city’s larger structures fail.^[3][4]

Local views of the Exiles are divided. Some trust the group because they have no one else to turn to; others doubt whether desperation can sustain a command structure. Their reputation comes from knowing Point Pringle from underneath, where survival and protection matter more immediately than the city’s grander claims.^[4]
