Grease Joins the Portal Road

Arthur's portal did not deliver the Pink Pony Girls to clarity. It delivered them to Grease. The party landed in the Whisperwoods and found a very short, very strange new perspective on the forest, beginning with Grease trying to eat Nick Kremp's polar bear. From there, Grease showed them around the woods and into a coffee shop full of performative men reciting poetry, because even a rescue arc can apparently stop for local culture. The team kept following Arthur's lead toward K'Zhara Flamehand. They asked after people on wanted posters, traveled to a new town, met Lawfuls who pointed them toward a vault in a tree, and stopped for health potions. Then Havyk drank a potion while thinking of Chaos the Raven, and the party was pulled into a battleground vision with two cyclops. The reward came in three trunks. Havyk saw a captured Medusa being experimented on and received magical eyes. Grease saw its town burning from an inside job and gained a mysterious choker. Dallas saw a vision of her mother and received a warhammer. The session made Grease more than a local oddity. Grease became part of the active party dynamic, useful in battle, tied to an arson mystery, and carrying a choker that needed answers. The road to K'Zhara became stranger, but also sharper.
