Into the Lonely Islands

The party was sent to a farm by Jeff, a helpful member of the Black Ward, to investigate a conflict between the Black Ward and the Thieves Guild over stolen weapons. At the farm, the group encountered strange occurrences, including dead bodies and a fight with small Cyclops-like creatures and a Githyanki warrior named Joan. After defeating the enemies, the party attempted to rest and explore the area further. During their investigation, Maine fell into a mysterious black hole, which the group later identified as a portal to the Void Realm, connected to the Lonely Islands, a void world with fragmented locations. The rest of the party followed Maine into the portal. This led to a tense encounter with a group of Githyanki, who questioned the party's presence and sought control of a dragon the group possessed. Diplomacy failed, and combat ensued. The Githyanki overpowered the party, leaving most members unconscious. The group awoke in a locked room stripped of their gear, with Darius suffering traumatic memories from his defeat, gaining a grudge against the Githyanki. Despite being imprisoned, the party discovered a potential escape route through a hole in the ceiling, leading to a snowy mountainside with an adjacent walkway. Meanwhile, Victor expressed concerns about retrieving their confiscated equipment, and Darius urged caution. The party remains divided on whether to escape or wait to negotiate with their captors. The Githyanki captors, particularly one seeking to deliver a dragon to the Lich Queen, have demanded Victor come forward for further interrogation. The group is now faced with critical decisions that could shape their survival and the outcome of their imprisonment.
