The Sky Falls and the Crowd Turns

The impostor confrontation did not get time to resolve cleanly.

Hooded soldiers dropped toward Gravenhurst under feather fall magic, falling slowly enough for everyone below to understand what was coming before they hit the streets. Around the crowd, other shapes stopped pretending. Disguised infiltrators revealed themselves among civilians, turning the trapped checkpoint into a battlefield from the inside.

The Lawful presence at the gate began to collapse under the pressure of too many threats at once. Civilians panicked. Sanctuary, self-protection, and invasion all happened in the same terrible breath. QUEST had entered Gravenhurst expecting trial complications and Castro rumors. They got an active city breach instead.

Djon was not with them. The Lawful were not controlling the street anymore. Valara's reveal had barely landed before the battlefield rewrote everyone's priorities.

The next problem was no longer only who the impostors were.

It was who could survive long enough to stop them.
