Runner Landing Opens Under New Goblin City

Jixie led the party out of the descent and into Runner Landing.

New Goblin City stopped being an idea the moment the cavern opened around them. Smoke pipes crossed the air. Fungus light glowed through the green vapor. Platforms hung over the dark in arrangements of rope, bone, signs, toll booths, carts, and goblin engineering that looked one bad argument away from collapse while somehow still working.

It was alive.

It also had entry law.

A toad-goblin toll official stopped them and demanded answers about Klik-Klak Voucher, Collector Brakko, and Collector Murn. The party had to lie around the missing collectors almost as soon as they arrived, carrying the consequences of the bridge fight directly into the city's first checkpoint.

The toll was eventually paid at two gold each.

The scrutiny did not disappear with the coins.

Runner Landing established New Goblin City as more than a hidden settlement. It was a place with tolls, witnesses, missing workers, faction memory, and enough bureaucracy to make murder inconvenient.
