Act 5, Episode 6, Scene 11
Fidelphi Falls Blind in the Market
2026-05-14 / Black Market, New Goblin City
Morgan followed Hugo into the chase because subtlety had already left the market. Fidelphi Castro was still alive, still running, and still shouting his denial through the crowd. Morgan cast Blindness after him. This time the spell took. Fidelphi failed, stumbled, and hit the ground prone and blinded while the market watched the pursuit close around him. He shouted that he was not a traitor. That mattered because Hugo was almost on top of him. So was Morgan. The moment could have become capture, interrogation, execution, or something uglier before anyone else had time to decide which one they were doing. Morgan's threats about body-part harvesting hung in the air, but Fidelphi still had life left in him, and the crowd around them meant New Goblin City would not treat the outcome as invisible. The session ended there: Hugo and Morgan over a living, blinded, prone target in the black market. A personal vendetta had become a public problem. The city had witnesses.
