Act 5 Episode 5 Session Notes

Event: This session resumes at the cave with the VQU student trio guiding the party. The group clears a gnoll ambush, recovers Madame Batdorf’s soul-charm loot, finds a Lloyd-corrupted owlbear egg, then accidentally drops Jonah and Elmyra into a lower boost-contaminated cavern where goblins identify the settlement as New Goblin City and boosted phase spiders begin reacting to Elmyra’s amplified command. Consequence: Act 5’s Root Barrel Farm rescue mission now branches: the Red Wingkin is still unresolved, but the party has discovered a hidden goblin/boost/spider ecosystem under the cave, plus a Moe Dimoggio shipment thread that may connect to Gravenhurst criminal logistics. Player Knowledge: Meta / Correction Canon Importance: High Future Hook: Next session should resume with Jonah and Elmyra in the lower cavern, goblins alerted, boosted phase spiders active, and the rest of the party above needing to decide whether to climb down, extract them, or negotiate.
