Event: This session moves the post-arrest party from Gravenhurst toward the Nick/I.J. farm mystery: they turn in Paulus Levius’s Death Mask and Cloak of Billowing for QUEST value, Jonah receives the Crown of Thorns from Djon Charleston’s movement, Sending to I.J. gives a route, Morgan is possessed by a troll spirit after Vic triggers a corpse, Katrine Draxler fines Morgan, and the party reaches Root Barrel Farm where Nick Kremp appears alive. Consequence: Act 5’s active pressures now converge around Nick’s impossible return, the suspicious dragonborn labor system at Root Barrel Farm, Castro/shapeshifter anxiety, and the party’s internal instability without Maine. Player Knowledge: Meta / Correction Canon Importance: High Future Hook: Next session should open at Root Barrel Farm with Nick’s appearance, Orval Finkus present, Morgan likely waking soon, and the party needing to decide whether Nick is real, displaced, copied, or something stranger.
