Act 5, Episode 5, Scene 64
The Three-Lock Box Remains on the Bridge
2026-05-07 / Lower cavern / bridge
Hugo's Darkness turned the bridge into a pocket of consequence. While no one could see clearly, Zetch used the confusion in the most direct way available to him. He mauled one of the remaining collectors with the chained box the goblins had been transporting, turning the cargo itself into the weapon that ended its carrier. When the darkness lifted, the scene had rearranged itself. Zetch was on top of a body. The ledger goblin was barely alive. The mysterious chained box was still there, marked by three magical locks and tied to Moe Dimoggio's logistics in a way no one had fully explained. The party had survived the spiders. They had stopped a collector from sounding the alarm. They had also created a new negotiation under terrible conditions. No short rest or long rest was possible in the boost-vapor area. The party still needed the route toward the Emrites and the missing Wingkin, but the box, the survivor, and the Dimoggio connection now stood between them and the next move. The lower cavern was no longer only a battlefield. It was evidence.
