New Goblin City Waits Under the Cave

The lower cavern was not empty rock under the rescue mission.

It was a place with people, shipments, rules, and cruelty already in motion. Jonah and Elmyra found goblins dangling another goblin over a deep pit full of boost gas and spiders, using terror as pressure while arguing about a failed shipment.

The name Moe Dimoggio came up quickly.

Goods needed to get back to him. Someone had failed. Someone was being punished for it. That meant the lower cavern was not just a monster pocket beneath an owlbear nest. It was part of a logistics chain, tied to organized leadership and whatever boost-contaminated economy had taken root under the cave.

Then the goblins noticed the outsiders.

They named the place New Goblin City, which was both absurd and immediately useful. A hidden settlement existed beneath the Root Barrel Farm cave route, close to the missing-dragonborn search and soaked in boost fumes. The goblins spoke of big boys and mumsy not liking outsiders, suggesting the city had hierarchy beyond the visible torturers.

The party had fallen through the floor of one problem.

They had landed in another one with a name.
