Act 5, Episode 4, Scene 8
The Maze Splits the Party Into Different Wounds
2026-02-15 / Maze rooms
Vithyrex's maze did not only divide rooms. It divided people. Morgan was pulled away by a relocating room and found herself in a different part of the maze, moving through prisoner-chain chambers and treasure with only her own instincts and whatever terrible supplies she had decided were useful. At one point she marked a trap warning in blood from a severed arm, writing the kind of message only Morgan would leave behind and still consider helpful. Jonah was separated down stairs and found a portal room. Maine found an infernal satyr who was anxious about love, and whose problem was awkwardly specific: he was not into men, and it was apparently difficult for an infernal satyr to find love. The maze was sorting them into parallel lessons. Morgan found captivity, blood, and warning signs. Jonah found structure and the suggestion of an exit. Maine found loneliness wearing horns. Each discovery pushed the same theme from a different angle: love as imprisonment, love as fear, love as a problem no one is built to solve neatly.
