The dragonborn crisis finally stepped into Arthur and Maine's corridor wearing a familiar horror as a helmet. A Castro figure arrived with General Falafelsnout's polar-bear head worn as a helm, the same grim motif tied back to Aleklot's Rest. It cut down one of the remaining dragonborn and moved into the fight, making it clear that Castro's reach had not stayed outside Vithyrex's domain. The maze was not sealed away from the larger war. The larger war had found a way in. Arthur attacked with a vorpal blade. He warned Maine that the figure could not take reactions, which meant the enemy had rules, limits, and openings. Maine tested it with force and learned something else: the figure resisted some of his damage through magical gear. It was not simply invincible. It was equipped, enhanced, and dangerous in a way that could be understood if they lived long enough to understand it. That distinction mattered. Castro's presence connected the Lonely Islands, dragonborn captivity, Falafelsnout's death-symbol, and Arthur's route through the maze into one immediate threat. The heart-piece chase was no longer only Vithyrex's love game. It was also a battlefield for everyone already exploiting the wounded world outside.
