Act 5, Episode 4, Scene 29
Jonah Drops the Cyclops in the Wall Gap
2026-02-26 / Dragonborn corridor
Jonah's temporary party had barely become a party before the maze tested it. The cyclops crashed into his new dragonborn allies, turning the broken-wall discovery into immediate danger. The dragonborn did not fold. They softened the cyclops up, proving they were more than hungry prisoners Jonah had fed out of kindness. They could fight, and they could fight beside him. Then Jonah finished it. Hammer and thunder damage brought the cyclops down. It fell dead into the widened wall gap, the same kind of fractured passage that had taught the party the maze could be broken open. Vala was there. The dragonborn were there. One claimed heart piece was with them. The route had become real. Vala warned Jonah to listen to the mystery, which felt less like advice and more like a rule of survival. The dragonborn wanted to know where more heart pieces were and whether Jonah had already used his. That was the shape of Jonah's split-party momentum now: faith, food, thunder, Vala's strange knowledge, two dragonborn fighters, and a heart-piece alliance that might put him against Arthur before the maze was done.
