Maine found the kind of object that seemed small until the names on it caught up with the story. It was a black journal marked "To TT from Ignotus." At first, it was only another strange thing in a maze full of strange things. Maine did not immediately connect the initials to the attacking minotaur. His history failed him in the moment, and Vithyrex's Maze did what it often did: it let the players hold an answer before the characters fully understood it. The journal was Timonos Truthstriker's. That made his presence in the maze feel less random. Timonos was not just a monster who happened to be trapped in the same love-themed labyrinth. Ignotus had given him something. The connection reinforced the earlier thread that Timonos had been pushed, used, exiled, or disposed of by people with more power than him. The maze was still dangerous in the immediate sense. Braska was fleeing. Timonos was active. The party was split. But the journal added a deeper kind of danger: proof that old choices had left written evidence behind. Timonos Truthstriker was not only a threat. He was someone else's unfinished consequence.
