The Raiders fell quickly, but the party still had to decide what kind of ending the fight would have. Patio and Greg were dead beyond easy repair: one from the fall, one from too much damage. Brent and Larry still had a chance. After the violence, My Alchemical Romance voted to stabilize the survivors with Spare the Dying. It was mercy, but not a clean one. The same group that preserved two enemies also kept looting temple-sourced goods, standing inside a corrupted holy site with stolen relics, broken display cases, and bodies on the floor. The cathedral had never let morality stay simple for long. Then Morgan crossed the line in her own direction. She began harvesting arms from one of the dead Raiders for future necromantic use, arguing that prime cuts should not go to waste. Jonah was horrified. The party did not fully stop her. That contradiction became the point. They had spared some lives. They had profited from a holy ruin. They had watched Morgan treat a corpse like inventory. In Paulus Levius's cathedral, even mercy came wrapped in theft, survival, and monstrosity.
