The Raiders of the Lost Park Fall Fast

With the sentries down, the living looters finally stepped into the story properly. They called themselves the Raiders of the Lost Park: Patio, Brent, Greg, and Larry. They tried to make the fight sound respectable after helping turn it ugly, offering a split-route truce now that the constructs had stopped doing their dirty work. Maine answered before the truce could become policy. He blasted two of them, knocking one from a catwalk and killing him with the fall. The rest of the party followed the decision with brutal efficiency. The Raiders had waited, ambushed, postured, and negotiated too late. Within seconds, their claim to top-tier adventurer status meant very little. One of them recognized Maine through an old mistaken-identity rumor, which made the moment sharper. This was not only retaliation. It was reputation colliding with survival inside an illegal dungeon where no one had clean hands. The Raiders wanted a split. My Alchemical Romance chose the simpler division: enemies standing, enemies down.
