The Catwalks Start Shooting

The sentries were not the only ones waiting for the party to bleed. While My Alchemical Romance fought the glass guardians below, hidden Raiders on the catwalks began firing from above. Explosive and flaming arrows cut into the fight from angles the party could not fully control, turning the reliquary into a vertical ambush. Dhaz climbed toward the threat. Maine confirmed the arrows were coming from both catwalks and tried to break the room's geometry with Shatter. Morgan solved the sightline problem in the most Morgan way available: she Misty Stepped up onto a catwalk and fired Lightning Bolt blind down the walkway because she did not care about the usual limits of vision. The rival looters had made their choice. They had not waited for the sentries to finish the party. They had joined the killing from above, hoping to let the constructs and the corridor do enough work that the survivors could be harvested afterward. The reliquary was no longer a three-way standoff. It was a trap with arrows.
