Morgan found it with an old Djeebus symbol, and Jonah recognized the mark well enough to place the dungeon in a more complicated line of faith. The symbol pointed toward Paulus Levius, a former Paragon of Djeebus whose story had never sat comfortably inside clean doctrine.

Paulus Levius was remembered through the eight temptations.

He was also remembered through a relationship with Djeebus that sounded less like devotion and more like negotiation: fraught, transactional, jealous, and full of bargains. Morgan called him a bad-boy Paragon, which was not exactly a theological term, but it caught the shape of the problem.
