Maine reunites with the party and asks what happened with the Castro. Ash questions the unfamiliar title and tests whether the returning Maine might be an impostor. Maine says he used prison to think, write My Angst: The Absolute Solution, and give voice to a workers' movement opposed to Lawful limits; he also says he may have started a cult, while denying that 'Master' is his chosen title. Sinclair distributes enchanted copies of the book. Jonah bear-hugs Maine and challenges his claims through Djeebus and creation theology. Morgan and Vic encourage violence against the Lawful, while Maine frames himself as the people's voice rather than the person ordering it. Hugo rejects the movement by burning his copy with Fire Bolt.
