Point Pringle Closes Its Gates

The party had helped keep Point Pringle from becoming Lawful property. That did not mean Point Pringle stayed open to them. After PP4's declaration, Eveline and PP5 chose to remain behind with their father. It was not a clean reconciliation, and it was not a clean endorsement. It was family, obligation, fear, strategy, love, legacy, or some knot of all of them. The Pringles had survived the act, but survival did not make them simple. Then the city drew its boundary. The Pringles asked all Lawful forces to leave. They asked the party to leave too. That outcome carried the strange shape of success. The party had prevented Lawful takeover. They had helped break Kaos's active chaos. They had endured the maze, the succession pressure, the false allies, and the cost of trying to keep the city's future from being decided by outsiders. But they were not invited to manage the recovery. Point Pringle remained Pringle-led, closed to outside actors, and unresolved inside its own walls. Eveline and PP5 stayed with PP4. Lawful withdrew. My Alchemical Romance and their allies left the city they had just helped save, carrying more questions than authority. Act 4 ended with Point Pringle free. Not healed. Free.
