Act 4, Episode 1, Scene 7
The Corridor Cannot Hold Solar
2025-06-?? / Pringle Manor corridors
Oskar met Solar in the hallway like a locked door with a sword. He pushed ahead hard, jumping into the corridor and staring down an enemy he barely knew except by reputation and immediate threat. Behind him, the party tried to turn the manor's cramped geometry into an advantage. Ash closed in. Jonah brought Spirit Guardians forward. Maine used telekinetic force not only against enemies, but on allies, pulling Jonah into the exact range needed to drag Solar through divine pressure. It almost worked. Solar was slower than he had once been, but slower for Solar still meant absurdly fast. Spirit Guardians cut into his movement, and the party damaged him enough to prove he could be hurt. Ash landed Hands of Harm and briefly poisoned him, a clean hit in a fight where clean hits were rare. But Solar kept moving. He used speed, taunts, and the hallway itself to avoid becoming pinned. Every time the party seemed close to containing him, he found another angle, another burst, another way to make pursuit feel one step behind. He was not the untouchable thing he had been before, and that mattered. The group was stronger now. Better coordinated. Less easy to scatter. Still, the corridor could not hold him. The manor fight became a lesson in improved teamwork and unfinished containment: the party could slow Solar, wound him, poison him, and force him to respect their reach. They could not yet make him stay.
