Act 4, Episode 1, Scene 5
Storm Boulder's Battlefield Message
2025-06-?? / Eveline’s quarters
Ren Yacour survived long enough to prove he had not been part of the lie. While the false guards tore through Eveline's quarters, Ren carried the real reason they had come: a memorized message from Storm Boulder. It was not clean. It was not hopeful. It was the kind of battlefield report that tells everyone the map has stopped being theoretical. Pringle Manor was holding, for now. Lawful had aligned with guard command. Reinforcements were limited. Attrition was not. The Promenade had collapsed into chaos. Woodborne infested the southern corridors. A ship had fallen on the tavern, a detail so absurd and awful that the message repeated it because no one would believe it the first time. Annie Rain and Angus Pringle had established a temporary safe camp there with confirmed sheltered civilians. The Pringle Works had gone dark. Guild members across Jericha were gathering in Point Pringle, and the Thieves Guild was offering a unified cell. Valara the Blade might be on site, and if she was, her ability to locate Witchborn made her a priority contact. Storm Boulder did not care which Pringle held the scepter by the end of the night, only that Point Pringle did not leave the crisis without a Pringle to answer for it. The party had become agents of unification whether or not anyone had handed them badges. Secure Pringle command. Restore the line. Stabilize resistance. Watch for doubles. The message did not interrupt the fight. It explained why the fight mattered.
