The next movement did not begin in Point Pringle's ordinary geography.

It began inside Gertie's chaos mirror maze, where rooms tested memory and identity instead of only direction. The party was still trying to understand what the maze wanted from them when one mirror chose Maine.

It showed him Enemy.

Not as rumor. Not as a name passed around the MAI thread. As a body in motion: impossibly muscular, void-infused, and brutal enough to crush a Lawful-aligned MAI subject in the vision before the glass broke apart.

The image hurt because it was not only about power.

Enemy looked like a version of Maine pushed toward nightmare, a variant threat wearing the same deeper project history that Maine usually kept at arm's length. The mirror made the private pattern public for anyone close enough to understand even a piece of it. Maine failed the save against the vision's pressure, took psychic damage, and carried disadvantage into the next test.

Then the mirror broke.

Behind the broken vision waited the next exit: a blue portal already open, inviting the party forward with exactly the kind of certainty Gertie's realm could not be trusted to deserve.

Still, standing still was not safety.

The party entered the portal and left the mirror room with Enemy's shape newly sharpened in the story.
