Act 4, Episode 1, Scene 1
Baron's Three Priorities
2025-06-?? / Faephine Moonhold’s astral cat-tower observatory
The return to Point Pringle did not begin in a normal room. It began in Faephine Moonhold's astral refuge, a strange observatory shaped less like a command center and more like a giant cat tower built for stargazing, hiding, and thinking too many thoughts at once. After Stormcall, the party had earned a breath. They did not get peace. Baron's priorities were waiting for them. Save lives. Gather allies. Secure a Pringle-led future for Point Pringle before Lawful could claim authority by default. That third priority changed the shape of the crisis. Point Pringle was not only a battlefield between Pringle Manor, Evil-held lab districts, and a central market-warehouse war zone. It was a succession problem. If no Pringle could hold the city's future, someone else would. Lawful might be the cleanest outside answer, but clean did not mean right, and outside order could easily become ownership. Eveline's name mattered. So did Angus. So did PP5. So did whatever remained of Percival Pringle III's legacy after the funeral. The party understood that stabilizing the city would take more than winning fights or collecting survivors. It would require a political shape strong enough to keep Point Pringle from being swallowed by whoever arrived with the most soldiers, paperwork, or certainty. Stormcall had been a hunt. Point Pringle would be a city trying to decide who it belonged to after grief, war, and chaos had already made their arguments.
