What Happened
Nick Kremp had never been good at silence. Not the respectful kind, anyway. The room was too neat. Too Baron. The sort of neatness that said _I’m in control_, and the sort of roommate that said _you aren’t._

1## **Episode 3 – Scene 6: Nick**
**[NARRATION]** Nick Kremp had never been good at silence. Not the respectful kind, anyway. The room was too neat. Too Baron. The sort of neatness that said _I’m in control_, and the sort of roommate that said _you aren’t._
So Nick did what came natural to him. He heated things up.
**[NARRATION]** He started with the scrolls. Just enough movement to unsettle the order — a corner out of alignment, a case angled wrong. He took one. Not because he needed it, but because he could.
On the desk, a glass of something expensive waited. He tilted it with the delicacy of a man testing the weight of a threat. Liquid spread across the wood, slow and sure, seeping into places it wouldn’t easily leave.
That’s when he saw them.
**[NARRATION]** The bottles weren’t trying to hide. Empty. Scuffed. Label curling just enough to read the word that carried its own sort of gravity:
**BOOST**
**[NARRATION]** He didn’t need the full story. He’d already written it in his head — the kind where Power isn’t enough unless it comes in doses, and the empty glass isn’t from a celebration, but a habit.
Somewhere down the hall, a scream cut through the walls. It was short, sharp, and too honest to ignore.
Nick stood there in the half-light, one hand still on the scroll, the other hovering over the spill.
Nothing in the room moved except the sound of that scream, folding itself into the silence that followed.
