Why Jerichan magic, Power, gods, relics, and Boost all point back to the same raw force
Old history material frames the Void as the foundation beneath Jericha's magic. Gods, elements, bloodlines, crystals, Witchborn inheritance, enchanted items, Boost, and divine effects may look different on the surface, but they all survive by shaping or surviving the same raw magical source.

Different magical traditions can have the same raw origin.
The old doctrine is blunt: in Jericha, Void is magic. Every spell, enchantment, divine effect, inherited Power, crystal surge, or artificial dose ultimately draws from the same deep source, even when local cultures name or discipline it differently.
Emrys
The Void is beneath Jericha's creation story, not just beside it.
Older histories say Emrys merged with the Void and shaped it into the world now called Jericha. Whether read as religion, myth, or deep cosmology, that makes the Void less like a foreign plane and more like a dangerous foundation under the world. Titian's Journal later preserves the war-era fear of Emrys's return as lived history rather than abstract doctrine.
Access
Access method matters; source remains shared.
Most people encounter the Void indirectly: Witchborn inheritance, crystal exposure, relic use, divine mediation, laboratory augmentation, or artificial channels such as Boost. The method changes the risk profile, but not the underlying source.
Danger
The Void can empower, distort, fuel, or consume.
The Void behaves like immense potential without built-in moral direction. A temple, lab, drug, relic, or bloodline can discipline it for a time, but the raw force remains unstable enough to corrupt economies, bodies, places, and histories when handled badly.
