Vithyrex is the force that draws hidden desire into the open. His influence can appear as love at first sight, artistic obsession, reckless confession, unbearable longing, or the realization that one's life is too small for the heart inside it.
Doctrine
Vithyrians treat love and overwhelming emotion as divine because they remake identity. Older sects often consider obsession sacred; gentler sects argue that love without care is only hunger.
Practice
Common rites include unrevised emotional art, Cyclops's Day Mirror Rites, Roses of Madness, devotional duels, public confession, and salons where passion and performance blur.
Sects
Major branches include Pure Vithyrians, the Compassionate Spiral, the Tragic Flame, the Crimson Salon, the Order of the Many Eyes, and the Beating Chorus.
Modern
Vithyrianism is public again after Centrum censorship, but modern followers argue over whether the faith must mature into compassion or remain dangerous enough to be true to Vithyrex.
