Hags

Hags

Civic DoctrineImage

Hag threats and variants; Gertie-associated, not automatically Gertie's servants.

Recurring fey enemies whose bargains turn fear, grief, hunger, and desire into traps. Hags are often connected to Gertie the Collector's orbit, but this entry is for hag-threat scenes and hag variants, not for Gertie herself or every Gertie-associated person.

Visual reference: Hagthorn, with Bone Masked Hag available as a darker variant.

Undead

Skeletons and Flameskulls

Civic DoctrineImage

Encounter-type skeleton, bone, and flameskull threats.

Recurring undead combatants, bone guardians, skeletal variants, and magical skull threats that appear as encounter types rather than stable named characters. Keep named undead, necromancers, bosses, and larger necromancy lore on their own pages.

Visual reference: Skullflare, with Drudge Bones and Arbor Skelemental as supporting skeleton variants.

Fey

Red Caps

Civic DoctrineImage

Fey killer and infiltration-threat category.

Fey killer threats linked to infiltration beats, false faces, iron boots, and violent proof that a friendly contact may not be friendly at all. Keep named infiltrators or imposters on character pages when identities are stable.

Visual reference: red-capped fey killer with iron boots, ragged leathers, and a heavy blade for infiltration-threat scenes.

Spiders

Boosted Phase Spiders

Civic DoctrineImage

Boost-mutated phase spider threats.

Phase spider threats altered by Boost, especially lower-cavern and New Goblin City encounters. This entry should explain the monster behavior and link to Boost without turning Boost itself into a monster.

Visual reference: phase spider with violet displacement haze and green Boost-mutated veins; Clockwork Spider remains a separate mechanical spider image.

Beasts

Gnolls and Harpies

Civic DoctrineImage

Gnoll and harpy encounter categories; not named individuals or loot.

Recurring ambush and cave-route threats, useful for ledges, pack pressure, aerial harassment, and hostile territory encounters. Keep named gnolls, faction-specific enemies, loot, witch-doctor items, and important individual monsters on separate pages when those identities become specific.

Visual reference: Gnoell for gnolls; Harpeggio is the current harpy image/archive name.

Oozes

Gray Oozes

Civic DoctrineImage

Generic ooze hazard.

Generic ooze hazards that appear in story or appearance data. Keep this entry narrow until more ooze variants are story-linked.

Visual reference: translucent gray dungeon ooze with grit, bone flecks, acid sheen, and reaching pseudopods.

Imps

Glass-Winged Imps and Void Imps

Civic DoctrineImage

Small imp variants; not named imposters.

Small recurring imp threats, including glass-winged imps and void imps. Named imposters, Castro agents, Voidlings as a group, or stable NPC identities should remain character or group links instead of being folded into this creature category.

Visual reference: Snickerimp, with Hammerhead Imp and Candleimp as variant images.

Aberrant

Beholder-Like Creatures

Civic DoctrineImage

Unnamed aberrant eye-creature threats.

Aberrant eye-creature threats referenced in story data without a stable individual name. Promote one to a character page only if a specific entity becomes named or socially important.

Visual reference: Festorb; confirm whether that should become the public creature name.
