Complete rules
This soft, slightly cool pillow is stuffed with pale down and faintly smells of embalming herbs. It never quite warms to the touch. If you complete a long rest while sleeping with this pillow, you gain the effects of the False Life spell upon waking (1st-level), granting you 1d4 + 4 temporary hit points. These temporary hit points last for 8 hours or until depleted. If you already have temporary hit points when you wake, you choose which pool to keep.[1]
