Overview
The Mantle of the Medusa is a magical cloak that helps its attuned wearer resist being turned to stone. With its hood drawn up, the wearer can also invoke Flesh to Stone against another creature.[1]
Rules at a glance
Edge cases
The petrification-save advantage is always active while the mantle is worn and attuned. Flesh to Stone uses a fixed save DC of 13, requires concentration as normal, and cannot be cast from the mantle again until the wearer finishes a long rest.[1]
Complete rules
While wearing the Mantle of the Medusa and attuned to it, you have advantage on saving throws against effects that would petrify you. Once per long rest, while wearing the mantle's hood, you can use an action to cast Flesh to Stone from the mantle with save DC 13. The spell otherwise follows its normal rules, including its range and concentration requirement.[1]
