Once per dawn, as an action while standing in a place where a creature died within the last 7 days, you may hold the charm over the ground and ask it to reveal one truth about one creature that died there. The DM provides one true statement about the creature, such as its name, cause of death, strongest emotion at death, last creature it saw, or one secret it carried. The charm cannot reveal information protected by a deity, wish, or similar magic. If more than one creature died in the area, the charm reveals the truth tied to the most emotionally intense death unless the user names a specific corpse or creature.
