Oath-Weighted Quarterstaff This staff is a magic quarterstaff (1d6 bludgeoning; 1d8 versatile) and grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. Gravespeaker Focus While holding the staff, you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and spell save DC for necromancy spells. Ask the Echo As an action (1/use; recharge at dusk), you cast Speak with Dead without expending a spell slot. The corpse does not require a mouth; the answer comes as a low harmony through the staff. Truth-Price Demand As an action (1/long rest), choose a creature you can see within 30 feet that can hear you and ask one question. It must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = your spell save DC). On a failure, it cannot knowingly speak a lie to you for 1 minute and must answer the question truthfully to the best of its ability. If it refuses to answer, it takes 2d6 psychic damage (once per use of this feature). On a success, the creature is immune to this feature for 24 hours. Bravespeaker’s Vow While attuned, you cannot knowingly speak a lie. If you attempt to do so, you take 2d6 psychic damage and are unable to speak until the end of your next turn. Echo-Tell When you use Ask the Echo or Truth-Price Demand, your voice doubles with a clear undertone audible within 60 feet. For 10 minutes, you have disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks to avoid being heard.
